The third cover i decided to analyse was of an extremely popular female artist Christina Aguilera, who has been around in the charts for 10 years, having many no.1's. I decided to analyse one of her DVD music covers so that i could have a mixture of the different ways in which putting the covers together can be affective. This cover was very different to the others i have analysed, there are valid reasons such as it is a much older RnB cover than the others however, I believe that this cover has a lack of appeal within it, and doesn’t have anything different about it to make it stand out. This relates largely to technological convergence, showing that throughout time with more technology coming together, it has allowed the music industry to advance in many ways, as in this case allows for better outgoing CD covers to allow for more selling.

Again i chose another very successful artist with mutiple number ones in the UK. My second artist is Rihannah. This is a female artist in her early 20's, with a huge fan base of women and men. The album being analysed is called good girl gone bad, from the analysis i have done i believe that the album cover relates to the name of the album with secret messages throughout. This has been a very successful analysis as it has given me plenty of idea's for my groups final piece.

After doing some further research i decided that my CD covers would be from very successfull artists in the industsy, i also decided that the artists were going to be very stereo typical R&B artists. The first CD cover i chose to analyse was by an artist called chris brown. He is a young male artists that sings the genre R&B, he has been a very successful artist in his career so far, and looks as though he has a long career ahead of him. Just by doing one detailed CD cover, it has given me many idea's in how and what needs to go into our CD cover and why they need to go in.
