Audience research - CD/DVD covers
I started researching on the intenet for the most talked about CD or music DVD's , i came across a few interesting covers that would be very fascinating to analyse . However, their were no R&B covers that had this unushual and different effect, which is what i was looking for, this meant that the R&B covers that i decided to anyalse would not be as interesting as i first pressumed.
Audience research - deciding genre
As i had finished my audience questionaires analysis, my results showed R&B to be the most popular, as did two other group members. The fourth memeber had Indie as a favourite. However, we had to use the genre we had most research about so we decided on R&B which did give the most overall feed back and popularity. However, we did take into account that an R&B music video would be really hard to produce as many are filmed in clubs and with very in timed dances. So we also decided that the music video would be a slow R&B song, as this will make the production of the music video a lot easier. From now on all my research and planning is going to be on R&B. Overall this was a very useful thing as most of my Questionaire analysis was on R&B.

I have analysed all of my questionaires, making graphs and analysing them. While making my analysis i realised that the mojority and most popular was R&B so from their on my main analysis throughout the rest of the questionaires was about R&B. I believe that these questionaires have helped and informed me a great deal as i am now able to see what it is that people want and dont want in their videos, what people like about different CD covers and what attracts them to magazine advertysment. While doing my analysis i have reaslised that it was very important to do a detailed questionaire as it does give you all the information you need for the whole of my your coursework. I also believe that the by putting the DVD/CD covers into the questionaire has helped me and my group by allowing us to realise the what and why some things will have to go into our CD covers.

Audience research -questionaire
All of my questionaires have been distributed and collected. I decided that i have to distribute it to as much a wide range of people as possible. Although it has been hard finding a mixed variety of ages i have tried. Although i do no that i have a larger audience feedback from the 14-17 which could cause an unfair response.

Audeince reseach- Questinaires
Looking further into my coursework objectives i have decided to not put CD covers in my questionaires, but music DVD covers instead of popular singers and bands. By using these DVD covers this will allow me to get an idea of what audience want and like on their covers.

Audience research- Interveiw and questionaire
As i have finished and typed up my interveiw i can see that the detail in this interveiw is to a much higher standard of what i will receive from my questionaires. However, these questionaires are still very important as they will inform on who likes what and watches what, and what effects who. I started my questionaire earlier in class and now i am about to complet it.
Audience research- Interveiw
I decided to conduct a short interview to help with my audience research on the general aspects that will concern my course work of music, CD covers and magazine advertisements. The questionnaire that I have distributed will be unable to contain a large amount of detail, due to this I believe that by conducting this interview it will allow me to consume a detailed specific amount of information that I would not be able to obtain from the questionnaires. The person i interveiwed was a 19 year old male, who is very into sports, enjoys work and loves music.

Today i started my audience research questionaire, while completing this i reaslised that their is some information that i cannot insure will be applied to the questionaires. Due to this i decided to do an interveiw with someone that i believed fit a profile of who could be a potential target audience. I belive that this interveiw will give me the detail i will need to carry on further in my coursework.
