Introduction

This was a small introduction to the characters (band members) within the video, with medium long shots of each member of the group. The font being in the same font as what was on the front of the CD cover, allowing a connection to merge between the two.

Verse 1

This includes Alex Marks and Adam Freezer, with a variety of different shots, with the location being in Row Heath park. This location was chosen to try and bring the every day locations into the video, also giving Alex Marks the effect of being alone.

Churus 1

This includes the whole band, in which we are expressed to be a strong force, trying to pull this off was quit a task however, we do believe that we accomplished this.

Verse 2

This is a very laid back verse, with Vicky Greenway and Adam Freezer. This verse is quite dark which follows typical conventions of a RnB music video, also the costume helps reinforce this laid back feeling as she is in what looks like bed cloths.

Chorus 2

The chorus again consists of all three band members again showing they stand strong together, allowing them to look dominant and powerful again. This is located in the middle of the street with very casual settings, with cars people ad everything you would generally expect to see in an everyday outdoor setting.

Verse 3

This verse has Chelsea Smith and Adam Freezer within it and also uses the everyday settings of the home, we are able to see the two people arguing between themselves however, we do try to portray chelsea as having the upper hand on the argument and allowing her to look more powerful and finally more stronger than male.

Music Video 2

Destiny's child- survivor
This music video is called survivor by Destiny's Child. The band that sing it are female, who are very succesful in the music busines. They are three extremely dominant, strong females that set and amazing example to all typical stereotypes about women. The music video does nothing but express how strong and powerful they are with many different codes and conventions representing the feminist theory throughout it. This music video is based in an isolated island with a beautiful beach and woodland, with the blazing sunshine. At first thoughts i thought this wanst very R&B however, what R&B often trys to conote is the royalty settings the expensive settings the things that other people cant do because their not quit as good as us. Beign on an isolated island is an accomplishment for anybody, this is why i believe that this is a good setting for them and it has a lot of iconography that relates to the music video and then R&B genre as a whole.

Neyo... Closer
This music video is by Neyo singing closer it has a very sophisticated link between the music and the video. With every movement, sound and beat all insink with oneanother, it does put everything we are going to have to do for our music video into perspective. This music video has a very fast pace to it, their is no eeryday settings as everyting is done with a green board and computer generated imagery.

Music video analysis

Choosing what msuic videos i was going to analyse was a difficult job, their are hundreds of differnt types of music videos that all have different ways in attracting the audience. Not to mension the different amounts of money and technology that is used to support the different videos. I have decided to use as much of a variety as i can, using different types of singers and bands, different types of music and diferent types of video's.
